This powerful enhancement builds upon the cutting-edge spinal robotic technology acquired in January and now allows our team to perform a wider range of neurosurgical procedures with even greater precision and safety.
The cranial robotic navigation system is designed to guide surgeons during complex cranial procedures—from routine biopsies and shunt placements to advanced deep brain stimulation. This technology streamlines surgical workflow, reduces time in the operating room, lowers radiation exposure, and improves accuracy—all while eliminating the need for traditional stereotactic arcs and frames.
This transformational gift of more than $347,000 was made possible by a devoted friend of Ascension Providence, who gave “in thankfulness for the Resurrection and Ascension of our Lord Jesus Christ, and in loving memory of her husband—humbly, a good Samaritan, known to the Lord.”
