As part of this goal, Providence Foundation recently launched the Here For You Campaign to support 3 strategic priority areas of Ascension Providence that have seen tremendous growth. One strategic priority is the enhancement of the Structural Heart Program at the F.M. & Gloria Young Heart Hospital. Funds raised for the Structural Heart Program will provide support for capital, programs, and research allowing Ascension Providence to modernize and expand current cardiac capabilities and stay at the forefront of advanced technology to keep care close to home.
To achieve this goal, we are looking to you and our community to partner with us in our life-saving work. That is why we are excited, honored, and grateful to share that Margaret & Weldon Ratliff have made a $3.5 million gift towards the Ascension Providence Structural Heart Program.
Margaret shares, “The Ascension Providence Heart Hospital is close to our hearts because both of my parents were cared for there for many heart conditions. It is imperative for Ascension Providence to keep up with the advancements in every area, in order to offer what other hospitals in larger cities do and keep our family and friends close to home for care. I know my parents were blessed with extra years because of advanced heart treatments that were available. We are very aware just how blessed we are to have Ascension Providence in Waco, and we are proud to be involved in supporting their endeavors to make it even better.”
